Welcome to Manga Day Festival 2026

Anime and manga are global cultural phenomena, and The Comic Workshop is bringing the celebration straight to the heart of historic, walkable Avondale Estates! Designed to celebrate International Manga Day, this inaugural 1-day festival brings together professional sequential artists, aspiring young creators, cosplayers, foodies, and local businesses for an unforgettable creative experience.

Whether you're a lifelong manga fan, an artist looking to hone your skills, or a parent searching for a fun weekend family activity, there is something for everyone.

  • 🎒 300 Free Swag Bags: The first 300 pre-registered arrivals receive a custom reusable tote filled with manga freebies, art gear, and local discounts!

  • 🎤 K-Pop Demon Sing-A-Long: 2 full hours of high-energy singing hosted by Mister John’s Music.

  • 👗 Cosplay Runway Showcase: Walk the pink carpet, compete for prizes, and meet professional cosplayers.

The Avondale Manga Stamp Rally

Take the festival experience beyond the venue! Modeled after traditional Japanese pop-culture festivals, our Manga Quest Map leads attendees on a gamified scavenger hunt through Olive + Pine and surrounding Avondale Estates storefronts. Just follow Taro’s tracks to guide your journey!

How It Works:

  1. Pick Up Your Pocket Map: Grab a physical Stamp Rally Card at check-in, you’ll find it in your gift bag.

  2. Explore the Quest Stops: Visit participating local merchants to collect custom stamps, stickers, exclusive discounts, and freebies.

  3. Claim Your Prize: Complete your stamp card and return to The Comic Workshop check-in area to collect your prize!
